Ans3. This tool helps to draw rectangular shapes of any
size. We can draw square, rounded rectangle, ellipse etc.

do we use lasso tool?
Ans4. It allows us to draw a freehand selection area.

do you mean by resizing an image? Write the steps to resize an image.
Ans5. Resizing means changing the dimensions of an image.

Palettes: - Each “panes” that carry options for
working with our file in photoshop is known as palettes.

Tool box: - It contains all the useful photo editing
tools.

layers in Photoshop.
Ans2. Every Photoshop image contains one or more layers.
Every new file is created with background which can be connected to a layer.
Layers are useful because it allows us to modify specific components of a
graphic without affecting the rest of the image.

Ans3. 1) Marquee tool: - it allows us to select an image
or part of an image in a rectangular, square or circular shape.
2) Magic wand tool: - it is used to select an adjacent
area of the image having same color.
3) Crop tool: - it refers to removing unwanted portion of
an image.
4) Type tool: - it is used to insert text in the image.

any three file formats of adobe photoshop.
Ans4. The file formats of Photoshop are: -

PSD (Photoshop Document): - It is the default
file format that photoshop uses for saving data.

GIF (Graphics Interchange Format): - It is
commonly used extension for web graphics.
3.
PNG (Portable Network Graphics): - It creates
smaller file size but without the quality loss.
